2012 in Review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,100 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 4 years to get that many views.

I have never had an annual report before on myself so this link is very interesting when I consider I am just part of the blogging world for the past 3 months. I think it is a really lovely idea to give people statistics on their blogs so that they can see an overall view of their efforts over a twelve month period and WordPress have packaged this very nicely. My statistics are not fantastic, but I am not blogging for a very long time. I still appreciate the way the statistics have been presented. Test & Measure is everything in Digital Marketing so this little surprize analysis from WordPress is perfect to help develop a blog into something more.

My first New Year resolution. I must try harder to develop my blog in 2013.
