Have we become human “toys” in the  Digital World!

Experimental guinea pigs for this new technology that drives its audience to gadgets and buttons and away from the real world around them.

Why are we obsessed with sharing every insignificant detail of our lives on Facebook. Is it our hidden desire to be “famous”. Are we reducing ourselves to a 12-inch screen amongst our friends in order to create our own   “Red Carpet”. We have become individual “celebrities” in our own lives sharing silly information like it’s a question of life or death. Is our fascination with the word “celebrity” colouring and shaping our judgement daily. Are we using technology to fill a void? Human ToysApparently Facebook have 500 million users with 1 in every 3 people on earth using this interactive tool every day.48% of 18 to 34 year olds check Facebook right when they wake up. How sad is that, are they dreaming of Facebook? Is Social media taking over our lives. What could possibly happen in 24 hours that people feel an overwhelming desire to check a piece of technology when they wake. 28% check their Facebook on their smartphones before getting out of bed.

Who wants to go to bed with Facebook? How have we allowed technology this type of intrusion into our everyday lives? How the world has changed. Is it a good thing? Do we really know how to deal with this type of technology? Are we pawns in a bigger game? Read More ………
